Jalal Hosseini joined Persepolis football team from Naft Tehran on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old defender has joined the Iranian popular team on a one-year contract.

The details of the deal have not been revealed.

Hosseini is on his second stint with Persepolis. He was a member of the Reds from 2012 to 2014.

“I am so happy to join Persepolis. We have a difficult task ahead of us since we must fight to win the AFC Champions League, Iran Professional League and Hazfi Cup,” Hosseini told reporters.
